Jack’s Vinyl Siding

Jack’s house was built in 1981 and was clad in masonite siding. As is so often the case, even his best efforts to keep his home’s exterior painted regularly, were not preventing the deterioration to his siding. Removing the existing siding to replace it would have come with a price tag Jack just couldn’t afford.

Quinta Contractors, LLC was able to offer him a solution which did fit right in with his budget. The premium vinyl siding we supplied and installed fit right over his
existing siding. The phrase “cover the wood and make it look good”, proved true yet again.

His new vinyl siding came with a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer
covering everything from chipping, pealing, to fading. The bright white he
chose for the trim on the fascia and door and window surrounds provided him
just the right contrast to the gray on the walls.

The “maintenance free” aspect of the vinyl siding is what really sold him on the idea. Knowing he would not have to drag out the ladders to paint it himself or pay for continual costly repairs, gave him peace of mind. Best yet, his home was transformed into one of the best looking ones on the block!

Your Home, Your Style

Downstairs Bathroom

Options, options, options… that is one thing that takes a little time to sort through when you select Quinta Contractors, LLC as your contractor.  Think about though, isn’t that one of the most important aspects of choosing a contractor?  You want someone who will listen to your needs and desires and make plans and take appropriate     action(s) to ensure you are satisfied.  That is what we do: we listen to you.  We know that it is your home and your style.

Upstairs Bathroom

We constantly strive to remind ourselves and those who we are fortunate enough to work with that it is your home that we have been entrusted to improve and/or repair, and that fact demands respect.  We focus on our folks staying as organized as possible as we embark on a project at your home.  At Quinta, we intend to keep the job site free of debris and clean.

Style: what is your style?  When I meet with home owners for the initial consultation on a bathroom or kitchen remodel or to discuss an addition or attic conversion, I pose questions to generate answers defining your style.  I am careful to consider your specific use of the space to be added or improved.  I want to bring as many options to the table as necessary to support your intended function and schemes in home decor.

You may have a flair for a modern or contemporary look.  You may have a strong affinity for more traditional furnishings.  Paying heed to these details, ensures that your style is carried throughout the scope of the new project.  We can select wall coverings that accent your personal preferences.  The bottom-line is that your complete satisfaction is integral to our customer service goals.

Carport Conversions

Carport Before Conversion

A carport is great for sheltering your vehicles from the sun throughout most of the day, however it may leave you and your vehicles susceptible to more than just morning or evening sun exposure.  Most new construction homes this day and time include at least a double garage, but some older homes only have a carport.  Converting an existing carport to an enclosed garage is an affordable way to upgrade your home’s value.

Enclosed garages offer more than shelter from the sun.  They provide ample protection from wind, rain, and snow as well.  Enhanced security is also an advantage from a garage vs. a carport.  Quinta Contractors, LLC makes the conversion process simple while remaining flexible to meet the needs of the homeowner.  Some clients would prefer to have open stud or exposed framing, while others desire to have the interior walls and ceiling finished with sheetrock.  Our carpenters, framers, and sheetrockers are professionals who understand the value of providing quality service for each project we undertake.

Garage After Conversion

The pictures attached with this article depict the before and after of one such conversion performed by Quinta.  The cost of the remodel can at least in part be offset by the increased value added to your home.  The safety and security can prove to be priceless.

Keep Those Gutters Clean!

A little maintenance goes a long way

Gutters are one of those components that easily get overlooked.  That is until, they begin to backup and overflow with heavier rains.  Often times the gutters have some form of guard preventing leaf and trash build up, but even these usually still require some maintenance.

I can tell you that I have seen many a gutter growing “vegetation”.  That’s right enough trash has built up to allow plants and even small trees to grow in the gutters.  When trash is allowed to build up in your gutters you are asking for trouble.  First the flow of water from the roof during a rain shower is affected.  The blockage can quickly move to the downspouts which escalates the problem.  Second the additional weight of the trash, some of which is granules from the asphalt roof shingles, can actually cause the gutters to sag away from the cornice work.  That’s where the real problems begin.  Now you can find water getting into the sub fascia and primary framing to the structure.  The repairs at this point are often very costly.

The good news is with some routine maintenance, you can avoid the damages described above.  You should have the gutters on you home inspected by a professional at least once a year for proper flow.  Most of the time this inspection includes removing any debris retained in the gutters and downspouts and then flushing the same with a stead flow of water to ensure proper drainage.  Your home is one of your best investments; take time to look around today if you spot leaves or debris covering the gutters give Quinta Contractors a call at 901.368.5609 or at 615.609.7966 in Nashville and we will gladly perform these services and much, much more.

Building Relationships

Building relationships is a major focus of our customer service goals.  We have numerous examples of how a small project completed led to respect and trust from the client for Quinta Contractors, LLC, which in turn encouraged that client to chose us to perform much larger jobs.  A successful remodel requires a consistent, parallelled level of trust between the contractor and the client.

We strive to present the best quality of materials available matched with superior craftsmanship to complete the individual tasks which together make a remodel.  When we undertake a project, we have entered the inner sanctum (if you will) of that client; this is their castle.  We pride ourselves on encouraging each of our folks to treat the home and it’s surroundings with the utmost respect.

We start the process of each major project by interviewing the client(s) to determine their needs and goals. Providing  the client with a reasonable idea as to the feasibility and cost of their desired changes at this stage determines whether or not we move forward.  The next step is returning a budget and a solid scope of work which upon the client’s approval will guide us all in the days to follow.  Keeping the contractor, client(s), and sub-contractors on the same page is essential.  Often times the scope of work dictates that blueprints will be required, especially when an addition is part of the renovation.

We believe that our commitment to customer satisfaction is unparalleled in the industry.  The attitude of flexibility is communicated to all those involved in the process.  The project sometimes lends itself to unscheduled changes at the request of the client, as they see the spaces in their home undergoing the planned transformations.  We are more than willing to accommodate these changes.

We know that the character of the company is revealed as we strive together to bring quick resolutions to each care or concern presented by the client.  Treating you and your home with the due respect is a priority for each of us at Quinta.  You do have a choice in contractors and we trust that by choosing Quinta Contractors, you will be pleased with the service you receive and your completed renovation now and for years to come.

Hail Damage

Spring has arrived and brought with it a fair share of storms with strong winds and damaging hail.  These winds and hail are capable of devastating your home and property.  The shingles on your roof are the most susceptible to hail and strong winds.  Quinta Contractors, LLC stands ready to re-roof, rebuild, and restore your home.

Hail in hand

Should you find yourself as a victim of one of these storms, you should contact your insurance company to open a claim.  The insurance company will assign an adjuster who will provide you with a scope of claim.   The repairs to your home within these claims must be handled by a licensed contractor.  Home owners filing a claim for the first time often find the language such as deductible and depreciation as used in the insurance papers to be very confusing.  We have professionals trained to review your paperwork.  We do work with all insurance companies.

Quinta Contractors will communicate on your behalf with your insurance company to insure that your claim is properly adjusted.  Basically, we are in your corner to make sure that the repairs are done properly and that your deductible is the most you have to pay.  Often times our rebate programs can keep your out of pocket expense at $0.00.

Roofing contractors will flood our area from out of town and provide sloppy work at best. Quinta remains locally owned and operated and has served the Mid-South for over 12 years.  You can be assured that we are truly Your best choice for home repairs and improvements.
