Deborah’s Bathroom

Deborah's Master Bathroom (2)

Deborah’s master bathroom received a makeover suited to her affinty for the lighter side of earth tones.  The sculpted white porcelain bowls for the matching sink basins provided a subtle contrast to the pink hues of the natural stone counter top.  We were able to procure a remnant which was a perfect fit and just large enough to include the back splashes but was reduced in cost due to its size.  The counter tops were finished with a simple ogee edge so as not to distract from their natural beauty.

The 12″x12″ tile floor was laid on a diagonal pattern with a tile trimmed to 4″x12″ and a 4″x12″ deco tile used to create a border placed on a standard lay along the outer edge.  The walls had 8″x12″ tile placed as a wainscoting with several tiles containing a medallion centered diagonally on those tiles.  The wall tiles continued into the shower and covered the shower seat.  Two inch square tiles were used in the shower floor to follow the contours of the sloped mortar bed beneath.

A porcelain coated cast iron, claw foot tub was chosen in white to match the sink basins.  Existing cabinetry remained in place and merely needed a fresh coat of paint.  Brushed nickel faucets were installed for sinks, tub, and shower alike.  A new toilet for the water closet and a fresh coat of paint completed this project, providing Quinta Contractors, LLC with yet another satisfied client.

Pergolas

Wood Pergola 1 Underside

Pergolas or arbors are a great way to add partial shading over an existing patio or as a garden feature serving as a shaded walkway or sitting area.  The summer sun can be relentless and shade trees are often sacrificed when a lot is cleared for home construction.  You can purchase a small tree and wait years for the limbs to get large enough to provide shade or simply have a pergola designed and constructed.

Quinta Contractors not only performs jobs as large as kitchen and bathroom remodels; we would be glad to  build an arbor for your outdoor living space.  These pergolas are typically constructed from treated lumber and require little maintenance.  The posts are topped with beams and then a number of smaller boards are place perpendicular to create a lattice type pattern.

The beauty of these structures can be enhanced with stone or brick pillars.  One of our clients whose chose an aluminum framed pergola selected dry stacked stone to surround the bases of the columns supporting the roof structure.  The options are as vast as your imagination and Quinta is your best choice for hiring professionals who are committed to quality customer service.
