Gutters are one of those components that easily get overlooked.  That is until, they begin to backup and overflow with heavier rains.  Often times the gutters have some form of guard preventing leaf and trash build up, but even these usually still require some maintenance.

I can tell you that I have seen many a gutter growing “vegetation”.  That’s right enough trash has built up to allow plants and even small trees to grow in the gutters.  When trash is allowed to build up in your gutters you are asking for trouble.  First the flow of water from the roof during a rain shower is affected.  The blockage can quickly move to the downspouts which escalates the problem.  Second the additional weight of the trash, some of which is granules from the asphalt roof shingles, can actually cause the gutters to sag away from the cornice work.  That’s where the real problems begin.  Now you can find water getting into the sub fascia and primary framing to the structure.  The repairs at this point are often very costly.

So, you have wood windows that are rotting in place or maybe your current aluminum windows are leaking and drafty.  Choosing the right replacement windows can increase the energy efficiency of your home and cut down on costly utility bills.  Replacing the windows in your home can be a reasonably sized investment and you should consider your options.

Kitchen Remodel 1i After

Building relationships is a major focus of our customer service goals.  I have numerous examples of how a small project completed led to a respect and trust from the client for Quinta, which in turn encouraged that client to chose us to perform much larger jobs.  A successful remodel requires a consistent, parallelled level of trust between the contractor and the client.

We strive to present the best quality of materials available matched with the best craftsmanship to complete the individual tasks which together make a remodel.  When we undertake a project, we have entered the inner sanctum (if you will) of that client; this is their castle.  I pride myself on encouraging each sub-contractor to treat the home and it’s surroundings with the utmost respect.

We start the process of each major project by interviewing with the client(s) as to their needs and desires. Providing  the client with a reasonable idea as to the feasibility and cost of their desired changes at this stage determines whether or not we move forward.  The next step is returning a budget and a solid scope of work which upon the client’s approval will guide us all in the days to follow.  Keeping the contractor, client(s), and sub-contractors on the same page is essential.  Often times the scope of work dictates that blueprints will be required, especially when an addition is part of the renovation.
